Culture: Listen

What does it look like to see, hear, value and champion our students, their families and our communities? In this mini course, we will focus on strategies to harness the power of relationships. We will share the story and lessons of the Rainer Educators of Color Network (RECN) and our use of Focus Groups, Listening Sessions, Mentorship Programs, Equity Conferences, Member Meet Ups and Training Offerings.

Course Facilitator: Your facilitator will be Shawna Moore. Shawna is the Vice President of her local Association, a lead for the Rainer Educators of Color Network, a culturally responsive trainer for the Washington Education Association and served for over 20 years in the US Military. Course Times and Dates: The sessions will be held on Mondays, October 7, 14, 21, and 28, at 7-8:15pm CST. The sessions will be recorded and made available to all participants.
