EVA Fellowship Application
The Illinois Education Association has received a generous grant from the NEA to start Educator Voice Academies across the state. The goal of the EVAs is to identify, elevate and implement effective educational policies that can positively impact our students, our schools and our profession.
The statewide EVA steering committee will be selecting and supporting Educator Voice Fellows in every office across the state. Every EVA Fellow will receive an organizing stipend and a Microcredential that could qualify them for local salary advancement based on their local Collective Bargaining Agreement.
The application window to become an Educator Voice Academy Fellow for the 2023-24 school year closed on May 31. However, you can still apply to become a EVA Collaborator and work with others to help amplify Educator Voice across Illinois. You can apply here.
In addition, this spring we are launching three work groups to highlight member leaders who are already doing great work, gather and refine best practice implementation policies and support educators working to implement these policies. Each of these work groups all fall under our unifying theme of "Amplifying Marginalized Perspectives".
