This is an asynchronous, pre-recorded mini course that you can access at your own pace. You will still be able to receive a micro-credential with the submission of a implementation reflection.

Looking to develop high impact teams in your organization?

Facilitated by Instructional Coach Sarah Ogborn, and joined by special guest Jim Knight, founder of the Instructional Coaching Group, you will be able to explore the potential for building high impact teams in your own local context.

Course Description: Throughout this course, participants will explore ways that High Impact Communities (HIC) can accelerate a school’s growth. The HIC model, a blend of the PLC model and Jim Knight’s Impact Cycle, enables small communities of educators to focus on a specific goal that positively impacts schools and creates more resilient school communities. Each week participants will learn about various ways to implement and evaluate this model. In addition, participants will develop a plan for implementing or adapting your current model and discover small, meaningful and actionable ways to elevate professional learning in your building, district or organization. In week two, we will be joined by Jim Knight, the founding senior partner of the Instructional Coaching Group (ICG) and a research associate at the University of Kansas Center for Research on Learning. Each week, come prepared to participate in weekly discussions and activities.

This course is perfect for PLC leaders, instructional coaches, union leaders, and administrators who are looking for ways to build community and elevate professional learning.
