Course Facilitator: Eboni "Restorative Rucker"
Course Dates: Live sessions will be held on Thursdays, February 29, March 7, 14 and 21, at 4-5:15pm CST. Sessions be recorded and made available to you in case you have to miss any.
Course Description:
Working in capacities that, at times, require more than what is possible to give, can create stressful outcomes if one allows it to. Gaining a sense of individuality is essential to maintaining our health and well being as educators. At the conclusion of the session, participants will understand the US Surgeon General Framework for Workplace Mental Health & Well-Being. Participants will explore Social and Emotional Learning for adults and learn how to build healthy relationships and support healing spaces in schools. Throughout the session, we will incorporate brain breaks in activities you can share with colleagues and students at your respective institutions.
Session Topics:
Each week participants will explore one of the Collective Well-Being Domains set forth by the U.S. Surgeon General. These domains are centered on worker voice and equity.
