Teacher Leadership Pathways

Starting with a leadership self-assessment and a local context assessment, you will explore teacher leadership pathways alongside national experts, while learning and practicing the core competencies required to maximize your impact. Effective schools need effective teacher leaders and effective teacher leaders need support to grow their capacity and impact. Your instructor will be Dr. Tim Dohrer, former Principal of New Trier High School and recently retired Director of Teacher Leadership at Northwestern University.
This all virtual Teacher Leadership cohort will run through the 2022-23 school year. The cohort will meet virtually once a quarter and will culminate in a job embedded practicum project that will showcase your impact and growth as a teacher leader. You will work with other emerging teacher leaders while being exposed to national experts and coached by experienced educators.                    Participants who successfully finish their project will receive a Teacher Leadership micro credential documenting their accomplishments.
Please contact us for information and tools you can use to submit this year long workshop series for reimbursement and salary lane advancement to your district, association or sponsoring institution. We encourage participants to begin this process early as it can take several weeks to process requests like this with local organizations. Just let us know if you would like to talk with someone  about reimbursement, salary lane advancement or potential scholarships.
Register now to ensure your spot. There are limited slots available. Last year, the cohort filled to capacity within the first month.
